Photographing a wedding is one of the greatest honors. It's such an incredible experience to witness two people commit themselves to one another, and be the one who gets to document it for generations to come. No matter who the bride and groom are, I always feel a special tie to their day. But there's nothing quite so sweet as watching your dear friends tie the knot. I met these two a few years back when we met up and braved a cold, early morning photo session in November (brought hot drinks and tried not to freeze). We all grabbed coffee afterwards and chatted about their travels to Thailand and the story of how they met wast, and it was history from there :)
Fast forward to the big day - this wedding was served as such a beautiful representation of the two of them. David grew up in India, so they decided to incorporate the culture into the wedding through the colors, clothes and even some of the music! Jaymi is a fiber artist and has a love for Moroccan inspired style. Pair the two together and you end up with this stunning, colorful, cultural day. Also, PS. I definitely had to hold back some tears during their ceremony. Peep their first look photos to potentially get some waterwork action yourself - ha!
